Oles Products
& Capabilities
Oles
Envelope Corporation uses three methods of producing custom printed envelopes:
flexography, jet offset printing, and lithography conversion. The choice of
a printing process depends upon the size of the run, the complexity and quality
of the camera-ready art, the number of ink colors, the paper stock, and the
level of quality desired.
FLEXOGRAPHY
Flexography is the least expensive and simplest of the printing
processes used for envelope printing. It uses special photopolymer plates and
water-based inks in an anilox inking system. With significant improvements in
recent years, flexography is approaching the quality of lithographic printing.
Oles currently produces flexo-printed envelopes on both web and die cut equipment. |

JET
OFFSET PRINTING
Jet offset printing is used to print already manufactured envelopes.
Similar to the printing method used in offset lithography on flat sheets, jet
printing allows for extremely detailed images and well-controlled color. Oles
has quick-turn, short and long run jet printing capabilities and the ability
to print from one color to four-color process on any size envelope.

LITHOGRAPHY
CONVERSION
Lithography conversion is the process in which pre-printed sheets
or rolls of paper are converted into envelopes. Unlike jet printing, litho conversion
allows for full ink coverage on the envelope. Oles Envelope Corporation is one
of the few envelope manufacturers that offer both die-cut and web envelope conversion.
